To provide our employees with unique learning opportunities, we sent our Operation and Branding team to attend the Art of Leadership Conference in Vancouver, hosted by The Art Of on December 2nd, 2022. This conference is one of the influential leadership events in North America, featuring a stellar lineup of world-class speakers, bestselling authors, and business icons who share their insights and strategies on the most critical issues facing leaders today.
The Art of Leadership Conference was a full-day event that covered topics such as leading through change, building trust and credibility, fostering innovation and creativity, managing conflict and difficult conversations, and developing a high-performance culture. Our team had an amazing experience learning from the experts and networking with other leaders from different industries and sectors. We also had the privilege of hearing from The Rt. Hon. Stephen Harper, the 22nd Prime Minister of Canada, who delivered a keynote speech on the global trends and challenges that are shaping the future of leadership.
One of the key takeaways from the conference was the importance of guiding our team during uncertain times. We learned how to embrace ambiguity and complexity, how to communicate effectively and transparently, how to empower and motivate our team members, and how to foster resilience and adaptability. These skills are essential for us as leaders in the rapidly evolving field of in vitro diagnostic lateral flow tests, where we constantly strive to innovate and provide reliable and accurate testing solutions for our customers.
We are grateful to The Act Of for organizing this incredible conference. We are excited to apply what we have learned to our daily work and to share our knowledge with our colleagues. We believe that by investing in our leadership skills, we can make a positive impact on our organization and on the world.
