Paid sick leave
In the event that an employee needs time off for illness, Artron offers sick leave. Although time off will be provided, there will be no pay unless the employee qualifies for paid sick leave under exceptions listed in the employee handbook.

Artron Proves its Commitment to Pregnant Workers with its Comprehensive Pregnancy Leave Policy
Artron has once again demonstrated its commitment to the well-being of its employees, particularly its pregnant workers. The company recognizes the unique challenges faced by women during pregnancy, childbirth, and related medical conditions and has implemented a comprehensive pregnancy leave policy to support them.
Artron's Pregnancy Leave Policy
Under this policy, employees are encouraged to continue working, according to the advice of their medical provider. Moreover, employees who wish to take leave due to pregnancy are required to give a minimum of 4 weeks’ notice prior to their intended leave date. This allows the company to plan and make necessary arrangements to ensure a seamless transition.
The company also recognizes the importance of providing its employees with adequate time to recover from pregnancy and childbirth. As such, Artron’s policy provides eligible employees with up to 17 weeks of unpaid leave. This policy is in line with the Employment Standards Act and ensures that employees have sufficient time to focus on their health and well-being.
Pregnancy Disability Leave
Artron requires written verification from a physician for employees to return to work after their pregnancy disability leave, with details on any restrictions.
Re-Employment Policy for Employees Returning from Pregnancy Disability Leave Employees who return to work after pregnancy disability leave will be re-employed in their previous position, unless the company eliminates the position, in which case a comparable position will be offered.
